When the hospital I work (I'm a registered nurse by trade) for decides to have an art show for their employees, this image immediately came into my mind. This figure represented what I and others healthcare workers have to undergo during the pandemic. We had to brave through difficult situations and scenarios that we may or may not have been prepared for. We had no choice to keep going or run. The figure in this painting shows resilience, contemplation, and a figure ever moving forward.

The original piece was created in colored pencils, acrylic, oil, and textured oil.
